PTSA Weekly Newsletter 6.10.19

Congratulations to our Track 1 8th Graders and we wish you great things as you move on to high school. To the rest of Track 1, enjoy your Summer break. Thanks to everyone who made it out to our final Family Night of the year at Moe’s. We know there was much confusion at the beginning of the evening and we apologize for that. Please know that your contribution to the PTSA is appreciated and that Moe’s will honor the dinners purchased on that night.

First Annual Spirit Wear “Give Back” Program

The Student Council and PTSA are partnering together for our first annual Spirit Wear “Give Back” program. 8th graders who are headed to high school won’t want to wear their middle school spirit wear any more. Rather than having it sit in a drawer unused, how about donating gently used spirit wear items back to PHMS? 1 in 5 PHMS kids receive free and reduced lunch and they cannot generally afford spirit wear. This is a great opportunity for our learning community to ensure everybody can wear our school’s colors. There is a red box in the office ready for your donations.
